School uniform

As we are now in the summer term students in Years 9, 10 and 11 are no longer permitted to wear cardigans or jumpers under their blazers. This applies to jumpers and cardigans of all colours.

Could we please ask for your support in ensuring that your child does not come to school wearing these items.

Many Thanks

Phil Henton
Head of Welfare, Guidance and Support (Extension Phase)

Students (Reception to Year 11) are required to wear uniform at all times (unless told otherwise e.g. non-uniform days or out-of-academy activity days).  A student not wearing complete uniform must bring an explanatory note from home.  An unexplained lack of uniform may result in a student being sent home to change.

Uniform can be ordered direct from our suppliers via http://www.price-buckland.co.uk/.  (Please note that prices direct from the supplier can be higher than those from the Academy as our discount is not applied for individual orders)

The academy uniform is as follows:

Foundation Phase

•    White polo shirt
•    Black trousers or skirt
•    Navy sweatshirt with logo

•    PE bag
•    Book bag

Development Phase
(Years 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8)

•    Sky blue PE polo shirt with logo
•    Navy PE shorts

Extension Phase

Sixth Form

     o    Unusually coloured hair
o    Patterns, lines or ridges cut into the hair
•    Hair accessories – any hair ornaments such as hair bands of bobbles must be black
•    Headscarves (e.g. hijabs) may be worn for religious reasons and should be plain black
•    Outdoor coats must be plain navy blue or black; multi-colours or coats with writing and emblems are not allowed
